Positive Affirmations for Embracing Change- Free Download

One of our “go to” tools to use in sessions with clients is positive affirmations. Simply, these are simple statements we repeat to ourselves to help overcome negative self-talk, boost confidence and improve mood. It is easy to get stuck in our own negative thinking which can contribute to depression, anxiety and impact our behavior.

Change is all around us. While some of us welcome change and see it as an opportunity, some get stuck and need support to help work through their feelings and the impact change is having on their life.

We created this quick list of 5 simple statements that you can use everyday to help challenge any negative thoughts you having as a result of something shifting in your life. Whether it is a change at work, in your relationship, your baby going to kindergarten or off to college, these affirmations will help you redirect your thinking in a positive way.

Keep this list somewhere you can reference during your day. Tape it to your bathroom mirror, keep it on your desk or take a picture to keep on your phone and repeat the affirmations to yourself or out loud with others. Start with just a few minutes and you can add or subtract as you need. Be consistent and give it a chance. The more you practice, the more you will notice these thoughts may become automatic.
