Michelle Doublet combines her experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker & Experienced Yoga Teacher in her work with clients at Passages. She works with individuals, couples and families to facilitate desired changes in their lives and find fulfillment. Michelle received her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work (MSW) with a Trauma Focus from New York University. Her specialities include anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD, trauma, stress management and perinatal mood & anxiety disorders.
Michelle’s goal is to assist her clients to ‘find peace within the chaos’, by helping them to increase their understanding and awareness of their own patterns of behavior and helping to find solutions towards positive change and emotional, physical and spiritual balance.
Michelle uses an eclectic clinical approach to working with her clients depending on their individual needs. She combines both her clinical evidence-based background and training in yoga and mindfulness to offer a wholistic experience for her clients. She has specialized training in Mindfulness, Emotional Freedom Techniques and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Outside of her therapy practice, Michelle enjoys both teaching yoga and taking classes personally, hiking and connecting to the outdoors.
